✅ Review: White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups from Justin’s

Peanut butter is a popular flavour concept in America. It’s everywhere and available in everything. It’s not as popular in the UK, but I think it’s gaining ground. Are White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups something we’re missing out on? Let’s have a look at this product from Justin’s.

I’ve combined my rich and creamy organic peanut butter with delicious Rainforest Alliance Certified chocolate to create a treat even the most staunch chocolate conservative will love.

Ingredients: organic white chocolate (organic sugar, organic cocoa butter, organic whole milk powder, organic soy lecithin [emulsifier], organic vanilla), organic peanuts, organic cane sugar, organic peanut flour, organic palm oil, organic vanilla powder (organic vanilla extract, organic vanilla ground, organic vanilla absolute), sea salt, organic soy lecithin

These are labelled as:

You get two cups in a pack.

The white chocolate here is milky, sweet and gives both a creamy flavour and texture to the product. It reminds me of a slightly less sugary Milky Bar in terms of flavour. I found it quite vanilla forward, but then I do tend to like that in a white chocolate.

That sweet vanilla white chocolate hits at the start of the bite, before giving way to a rich, nutty and pretty well salted peanut butter at the centre. It’s delicious (if you like that sort of thing).

The flavour profile ends on that sweet white chocolate flavour again, with notes of lovely whole fat cream sticking to my tongue.

It’s not a crisp chocolate shell, but that’s not something I’d want in a peanut butter cup. Instead the chocolate is a bit on the softer side, with a lovely thick melt.

I also really enjoyed the plentiful amount of salt in the peanut butter. A product that leans quite sweet really does benefit from the balance salt brings.

Overall these cups are just a touch too sweet for my personal preferences. (Which means they’re probably perfect for the majority of people, especially Americans who are used to sugar being in all sorts of things). I get a little of that odd sugar-burn at the back of the roof of my mouth, but I cannot fault the flavour at all. It’s a tasty white chocolate and a delicious peanut butter.

I must remember to show you the milk and dark chocolate nut butter cups from this brand. I’ll get there, eventually!
