I go back and forth on whether I really like these little airy, printed biscuit snacks. On the one hand, they’re cute. On the other, they’re so airy and light it’s like eating nothing. The big question though; do they taste good?
The answer to that question, I think, is “Yes”.
This special Limited Edition flavour is Cream Pudding and every biscuit has a cute koala design printed on it.
These are cute, small, crisp and not greasy biscuits with a bread-like vibe. The packet says they’re suitable for vegetarians too.
They’re covered in a variety of sweet little printed designs and filled with a tiny amount of filling that delivers a deceptive amount of flavour.
I assume it’s successful because the light puffy biscuit is so neutral in taste. Any more filling in these biscuits would make them too sweet, I think.
Flavour wise, I think it tastes like a vanilla custard.
The picture suggests there should be a caramel vibe to it but I’m just not quite getting that browned sugar flavour. I can quite happily believe it’s a “cream pudding” flavour though; so whether the translation is quite right or the artwork is subtly misleading, I don’t know. I do know that they’re tasty though.
If you’re a fan of this style of biscuit, and you happen to love vanilla custard based dishes, these should work quite well for you. Thumbs up!
